Betrayed

After Cheryl accidentally allows a prisoner, Julie Evans, to escape following a raid in a brothel, Chappel continually treats her harshly, forcing her to consider accepting a job at AMIP. That is until she discovers Chappel helped to set it up after she saw him grieve over Dougie's death.

Meanwhile Julie contacts Chappel and offers, under certain conditions, to help him put away the brothel-owner, Harrison. Harrison's also been bringing Eastern-European girls into the country and forcing them to become prostitutes. However, Chappel refuses to meet her demands, as he has another witness, Sofia.

Chappel assigns Joe to look after Sofia, but this ends up being the straw that broke the camel's back for his wife, Shirley. Things get even more complicated when Julie's mother is killed in an arson attack on their home, and Sofia refuses to give evidence when she finds out that she's pregnant.
